First, the lesson on the Jordan was very enlightening and the words on the place of the baptism of Jesus was a great read.
But the points were the best part of the day for me and I gathered these three things out of it:
a. Surrender is a daily event not a one time event. Baptism is an outward witness of my surrender to Christ, but that surrender has to be taken seriously daily if I am to be all Christ has for me to be.
b. Even in 100 years when even my own relatives will not know my name or who I was my influence for Christ will last. When we live for Christ we make a real impact, when we live for ourselves, we make either a negative impact or none that will last whatsoever.
c. I have to remind myself daily that any work I do must be done for and under the guidance of Christ or in the long run it means little.
Loved this day, it spoke to me.
Love all you had to say You have such an insight into words .
