When I was 16 I was drawn to church, I believe by the hand of God. As a matter of fact I believe that God was at work in my life well before that drawing me to him. That was just the day I was able to act upon God's calling. From the Methodist church I attended that summer day to the Presbyterian church where my sister-in-law was attending the next week. God was in control. Then a couple of years later when I met Kim, another God ordained moment I believe, I moved to the Baptist church at Mimosa Lane.
There people had a different relationship with Jesus than at the other churches, it was personal, I wanted that and accepted the Lord and followed through with believers' baptism at Mimosa.
Many of you have heard this testimony before, I share it today because in the book it ask the question, when was the last time I was grateful for my salvation. Well, my answer is today!
In response to that I thought I would share that journey again and thank God for him drawing me to Him and for how he has blessed me abundantly over the years. In ways I surely do not deserve.
Thank you, God, for grace and salvation!
P.S. Loved the story of how we got our Christian roots.
